Question:
I just purchased a Cube Town Hybrid bike that has short fenders front and back. I need a two bike rack that can accommodate the fenders when attaching the bike to the rack. Im looking at the Inno Tire Hold 2 Bike Platform Rack and want to know if that will work given I will have small fenders on the bike. It looks and sounds as though it will work but I want your advice before I pull the trigger. Thanks

I have a great alternative for you. Unfortunately, here at etrailer, we do not recommend using a hitch bike rack that uses a wheel-mount attachment style for bikes with fenders of any size. The reason why is because the fenders can become cracked and damaged during transport due to bumps or added torque. With that being said, we discourage the use of the Inno Tire Hold 2 # INH120 with your Cube Town Hybrid bike with fenders.
A great alternative rack that uses a frame-mount attachment style that avoids the potential to damage your fenders is the Curt 2 Bike Platform Rack - 1-1/4" and 2" Hitches # C18085. The Curt 2 has a per-bike weight capacity of 45 pounds, and includes padded ratcheting hooks that adjust independently along upright mast to hold bikes of different shapes and sizes. The versatility of the ratcheting hooks is great because you will not need to purchase a bike frame adapter bar if you have a step-through, women's, children's, or alternative-style bike frame.
If you need a hitch receiver recommendation for your vehicle, I would be happy to assist you if you provide me your year/make/model of vehicle.
