A 2007 Ford F150 would indeed be prewired from the factory for installing a brake controller like the Tekonsha P3 # 90195 you'd looked at. The P3 is one of the brake controllers I recommend most often, because of how easy it is to use.
To install the controller, you'll need the # 3035-P brake controller harness for Tekonsha brake controllers, which would plug into the connector located above and to the right of the OBDII connector under the dash, as shown at the 3:50 mark in the linked video.
The 2007 F-150 would have come from the factory with a trailer connector. The 7-way connector is by and far the most common. If your truck has the 7-way, you'll have a plug and play install just as shown in the video. If you have the less commonly found 4-pole connector, you'll also need the # 37185 adapter.
To install the adapter, plug it into the existing 4-pole on the truck and ground the white wire to the vehicle frame or chassis. Follow the harness feeding the 4-pole to where it plugs into the factory connector on the driver's side frame rail just behind the rear wheel. On the forward side of that connector closest to the front of the truck, remove the tape or wire loom from the harness feeding that connector and locate the blue and the orange wires. The blue wire carries the output from the brake controller. Cut that wire and use a butt connector to attach it to the blue wire from the # 37185 adapter. Cut the orange wire, and connect it to the black wire from the adapter. I've linked to a help article that explains this further.
The install video I linked also runs through the features of the P3 controller.
