You know the RV step dance? Step up, open door, step back, swing it open, step up again. This latch extender gives you more to grab and lets you walk right in. Also a great solution for opening the door from the ground if you have fold-down steps.

Essential Measurements
The MORryde Latch Extender is a great upgrade, but grab your tape measure and check your RV to make sure this will work for you.
First, make sure you have a paddle latch style door lock. A lever style will not work.
Second, make sure that the handrail on your RV doesn't need to rest against the door. Since the Latch Extender extends from the door, a grab handle that folds against the door could interfere with it, possibly causing the door to open while you travel.
For installation, you need 1-1/2" clearance above the deadbolt lock and 16-3/8" clearance below the deadbolt lock. Clearance width of 5-3/4" is needed from the edge of the door. This should not be a problem on most factory RVs.
When the door is wide open (possibly held in place by a latch), you should make sure you have about 2-5/8" of clearance from the face of the latch and 3-1/2" off of the door. This measurement will make sure you don't have a problem with the latch extender colliding with the sidewall of your RV.
Just installed on both doors to my Keystone Hideout and I am so impressed with how easy they went on and how easy they make it to open to handles. Looking forward to the kids getting home to give them a try. This will save us getting up and down 100 times to let the kids into the camper when camping! Will update after our first trip but so far, they are great! Also, excellent shipping time by etrailer.com. My go to place for all my camper needs.
My wife loves this it makes it so easy to get in the trailer. She is kind of short and she used to go up three steps then back down to get the door open. now she can open at the bottom steep and she has to show everyone that handle

Very easy to install and works great for the grandkids and us older people as well.
Great addition . Makes door much easier to use for children and others with mobility challenges and really anyone. Simple to install.

Followup at one year. Latch extender still works great. Its very helpful for tall RVs and for those who find using the standard paddle latch difficult.
It looks good haven't installed it yet

Works good had to put a linger door stop on so handle wouldn’t hit side of trailer. Have to tighten it often the screw from the lower lever to the bar canes loose.
Unfortunately it won't work with a flush magnet door latch. Not enough clearance. Not sure if this info was provided on the description. Have to return it.
Works great for my short wife, only complaint I have is the upper screw seems to come unscrewed easily and I have to retighten it a lot, needs a locking washer added
This will be installed later next year (ie springtime.)
The convenience of it fitting in the space left over by removing OEM folding stairway is a simple and effective way of hiding the gap; left by removing old stairway and now going to add just that little more storage space. It locating at the rear of the trailer is a plus too.
We bought this handle about a year ago and we love it. It's well made and we've had no issues with it. We do recommend this product that we bought from etrailer.

Everything I get has been great .we had a problem with using the credit card .I will always use pay pale now.
Never installed as wife did not like the look of it on the door.

This has held up well over the past year. I havent had to tighten the set screw since shortly after installation and I thought it was going to be a problem.
Needs to be a bit heavier duty
This is an absolute must have and should be standard on all RVs
A simple idea that should be made a industry standard.

A year in and still going strong. These handles have been a game changer and I cant imagine going back to camping without them, especially with the kids. 100 worth the effort and cost.
