Question:
Hi, question can I use this rack with my KBO e-bike, specifically pictures show hold down on front tire, I have fenders so can I use hold downs on frame tube without changing hold down efficiency? Also thinking about putting hitch on 07 focus sedan , will be carrying 1 e-bike and 1 reg. bike which hitch do you recommend?

I have a great solution for you. Unfortunately, the Yakima HoldUp Bike Rack for 2 Bikes - 1-1/4" Hitches # Y02445 does not have a long enough ratcheting arm to allow you to attach your KBO e-bike to the frame tubes. With that being said, here at etrailer, we do not recommend using a wheel-mounted attachment style with bikes that have fenders. The reason why we discourage this is because the ratcheting arm could shift during transport and potentially crack or damage the fenders.
However, a great alternative for you is the Saris Freedom Bike Rack for 2 Bikes # SA4412B. The Saris Freedom has the same 60-pound per-bike weight capacity as the HoldUp and allows you to attach your bike by the frame. One of the great features of the Freedom is that the attachment cradles adjust independently along the upright mast to hold bikes of various shapes and sizes. This is beneficial if you have bike frames that are step-throughs, women's bikes, children's bikes, or alternative styles. For extra security of your bikes and the rack itself, I recommend the anti-rattle hitch lock # SA3022 along with the cable lock # SA981
As far as a hitch for your vehicle, I recommend the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver - 1-1/4" # C11294. With the curt hitch, you will not have any problems with rear-bumper clearance when using the Freedom. In addition, the Curt Hitch comes with all hardware required for an easy bolt-on installation to your 2007 Ford Focus.
