Can a Dexter Hub be Swapped from Grease to Oil Bath?

Can you change bearing lubrication from grease to oil bath. Axle came with grease in bearings yet the seal is an oil seal and dust cover is the clear oil bath cover with fill plug?

As long as you have the correct seals and caps, you can definitely switch from grease to oil. To swap the etrailer # AKHD-655-6-K over, you will need the Kodiak XL ProLube Kit for for 5,200-lb to 6,000-lb Axles # XLPROLUBE2440KIT. However, it does sound like you already have the oil bath style seal and cap, so you should be good to go.
