Jeff Hello, everybody. This is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today, we're gonna take a look at this CE Smith 2 1/2 inch diameter wobble roller for roller bunks. This is designed to fit a half inch diameter shaft. Now, this wobble roller will replace a worn out wobble or rocker roller on your roller bunk assembly of your boat trailer. Now, wobble rollers like this are found on boat trailers that have a hand winch or a power winch to pull the boat up onto the trailer.

The rollers are designed to provide a minimum amount of resistance and allow the boat to roll up to the winch stand. And the way these rollers are mounted is supposed to help center the boat as well. Now, when you're replacing these wobble rollers on your boat trailer, there are a few key measurements to take before purchasing. First one is the roller diameter, which is gonna be measured outside to outside. So on this one, if we get a ruler, and we go diameter on this is gonna be 2 1/2 inches.

Next measurement is the roller width. And the width is gonna be from the shaft right here to here. So, not the exact roller but the including the shaft, and that's gonna be right at 1 7/8 inches. And then the last one would be the shaft diameter. In other words, the size of the shaft this will go onto is a half an inch.

Now, this roller is constructed of a black polypropylene. It is made in the USA. And again, the application for this is a roller bunk assembly with a half inch diameter shaft. But that should do it for the review on the CE Smith 2 1/2 inch diameter wobble roller for roller bunks..

Replacement Boat Trailer Wobble Roller Installation
The boat trailer replacement wobble rollers we offer include both black rubber and non-marking thermoplastic types that you can see by clicking on the link provided for you. It is a good idea to use washer on both ends of the new roller to prevent binding on the cotter pin. Wobble Replacement for 1985 Ez Roller Boat Trailer
We have the non-marking part # YR500YW-8PEZ which fits the shaft you have and is a 1/2 inch taller than what you have but the same width. It would be a great option but would be just slightly larger. We don't have your exact size but this will work great.

Recommended Replacement Rubber Wobble Roller for a Bunk Assembly
I may have another option available for you, but it is a different size. That being said, the CE Smith Wobble Roller for Roller Bunks # CE29566BULK is the only one we carry with a 2 1/2 inch diameter and 1/2 inch shaft. The closest other option we currently have available is the Yates Ribbed Wobble Roller # YR343R-5P. However, this will have a 4 3/8 inch diameter and will use a 5/8 inch shaft.
