The big difference is that the part # TLA7804-8000 does not come with a bracket for how it attaches to the truck whereas the part # TLA7834 does. The bracket is for a more permanent install where they'd fold up and store on the vehicle whereas version without the bracket is a set you'd remove and install every time you use it.
