Best Hitch Mounted Spare Tire Carrier for Class B RV
Updated 06/30/2021 | Published 06/29/2021 >
Question:
Hi, we have a VW Westphalia with a sturdy aftermarket rear bumper. The van also has a hatchback. Looking for a spare tire carrier that would mount on the bumper/hitch mount but removable/maneuverable enough to open the hatchback. Ideas?

The Roadmaster Hitch Mounted Spare Tire Carrier part # RM-195225 is the best option we offer for a hitch mounted spare tire carrier. This carrier allows you to swing the arm down which not only allows for certain hatches to be opened but also make it easier to get the wheel/tire off and on. It allows you to use another hitch mounted accessory while carrying the tire as well.
