Question:
I want to ensure that I order the correct back end harness parts for my 2005 F150. I already have one on my 2004 F-150, but I dont think it is compatible. Also, please confirm hitch part no. C14357 is correct. I am going to remove my Tekonsha P3 controller 90195 from my 2004 F150 which is hardwired so Im ordering part 3035-p for the plug 2005 has the plug. In summary, I have the first two items in my shopping cart: C14357 hitch is correct? 3035-p is correct for plug in to the 2005? What harness parts? Mine is a travel trailer not a 5th wheel. Thanks

Since your 2005 Ford F-150 has the factory trailer brake controller port underneath the dash, the Tekonsha Plug-In Wiring Adapter # 3035-P you mentioned is correct for installing your Tekonsha Prodigy P3 # 90195.
In addition the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver - Custom Fit - Class IV - 2" # C14357 you were looking at is confirmed to fit your truck as long as it does not have a factory trailer hitch receiver.
It sounds like your truck has a 4-way connector but not a 7-way connector based on the products you were looking at. If that is the case you will also need the Adapter 4 Pole to 7 Pole Vehicle End Trailer Connector # 30717 which will plug into your existing 4-way connector. There will be a connector on the frame rail towards the rear of your truck like the one shown in the included picture, you will need to cut the orange wire off and connect it to the black wire of the # 30717, and cut the blue wire off and connect it to the blue wire of the # 30717. This will give you a fully functional 7-way connector.
Lastly to mount the 7-way connector to your trailer hitch receiver you will need a 7-way connector bracket # 18138 and the no drill mounting bracket # 18140.
I included videos of the products mentioned, a link to a helpful article that goes over installing the 7-way connector for you to take a look at.
