For your Atwood g6a-8e water heater I recommend the Camco RV Water Heater Temperature and Pressure Relief Valve Item # CAM10473. According to the repair manuals for that model. They require a 3/4 pressure relief valve. This relief valve has an anode rod to help prevent build up of contaminants inside the tank. The rod will attract those contaminants so they do not cause further issues.
