Question:

I have a Native Watercraft Slayer 10 and a Hobie Outback - I have a Malone Microsport XT trailer. What cradle would you recommend not only for transport but also for storage on the trailer? We are also looking at the Hobie cradle for the Hobie, but would like to know if the Malone cradles would work as well. Thank you for your assistance,

I recommend the Malone J-Pro2 Kayak Carrier with Tie-Downs - J-Style - Fixed Arms - Side Loading, part # MPG117MD.
J - style carriers offer more support and it is easier to carry boats with hulls of various shapes without having to readjust the rack. The j - style carrier also has a smaller footprint than other options. Since you will be using the kayak carrier for storage when not in use, its ability to fold is not an important feature. Nor is being able to attach a second boat to the opposite side of the carrier since it will be on a trailer.
