Question:

I need the bracket kit for 2005 chevy 2500 westin hdx. If the grille guard doesn't fit, what one do you recommend?

I confirmed with Westin that they do not have (or make) a hardware kit that will mount a HDX grille guard to a 2005 Chevy Silverado 2500 HD. When it comes to grille guards, manufacturers make it incredibly frustrating for buyers to purchase grille guards from a second-hand source. All grille guards are made specifically for specific year/make/model of vehicle. The installation hardware is also specific to the model of the grille guards for the specific year/make/model of vehicle. I do apologize for the frustration, but Westin or Etrailer does not carry mounting hardware that will fit your 2005 Silverado 2500 with a Westin HDX.

For a grille guard that will fit your 2005 Chevy Silverado 2500 HD, I recommend the Westin Sportsman Grille Guard - 1 Piece - Black Powder Coated Steel # 40-1245.
