I checked directly with Reese for you and found out the total weights of each of the Reese M5 5th wheel trailer hitches that fit a 2021 Ford Super Duty, and I'll list those for you:
- 148 lbs: Reese M5 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch for Ford Towing Prep Package - 20,000 lbs # RP30921
- 148 lbs: Reese M5 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch for Ford Towing Prep Package - 27,000 lbs # RP30922
- 162 lbs: Reese M5 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch for Ford Towing Prep Package - 32,000 lbs # RP68FR
The M5 is a fantastic choice for a 5th wheel hitch and one of my favorites because of its superior jaw system and is also really easy to use. The M5 uses what is called a Talon jaw system that wraps around your king pin like an adhesive, which means less slack in the hitch for a more more comfortable, quieter towing experience than hitches with lesser jaws.
The Talon jaw system is also always ready to accept the king pin so you can just back in and connect. It also has a handy color indicator system which will turn from red to green to let you know if the jaws on the hitch are locked around the king pin, taking any guesswork out of the equation, and these things are what makes the M5 easier to use than other hitches.
I have added some links below to video reviews for you to check out as well if you'd like to take a look.
