Question:

I have a 2016 Chevy Silverado 3500, I want a cover that will work with a toolbox. I will be also be using a 5th wheel and am worried about the pin box hitting the rails or the casing for the top. So I am wanting to know: 1 will this cover work with a tool box 2 will a pin box clear the rales and cover or will I have to take the cover off when using with a 5th wheel?

The Pace Edwards Switchblade Retractable Hard Tonneau Cover # 311-SWC95A17 is compatible with 5th wheel hitches and toolboxes as long as they are not taller than the truck bed rails. The tonneau cover sits on top of the bed rails and will clear anything underneath that height. I attached a photo which shows this cover being used on a truck bed that has a 5th wheel hitch and toolbox/tank of some sort; if your setup is like this then you will not have an issue.

If your toolbox sits over the bed rails then you will want to instead go with the Access Toolbox Edition Soft, Roll-Up Tonneau Cover # A62339. This is made to seal up against a toolbox; it is only compatible with 19"-21" wide toolboxes. It also sits over the bed rails so it will clear your 5th wheel hitch as long as it doesn't stick up past the bed rails.

Both covers are confirmed to fit your 2016 Silverado 3500 with 8' bed. I attached a demonstration video for each tonneau cover.
