If you look at the provided photo, you can see the hole spacing on the mounting pad of the Buyers Products
# 337HW800S 800 lb capacity trailer winch. 1/2 inch hardware is recommended.

Hi Mike, Just wanted to clarify that although the manufacturer may have stated that the hole diameter is 1/2", it is in fact not that large. A 3/8" bolt will be a much better fit. Ask me how I know, lol.
