Question:
You have an answer to wiring a transfer pump with two wires. How do you wire a three wire pump? White, black, and green wires to a seven pin plug. Thanks

Expert Reply:
Since your transfer pump has 3 wires that means it has a static ground. The green wire will get grounded to the body/frame, the white wire will need to be connected to the ground on the 7-way connector, and the black wire will get connected to the 12v power pin on the 7-way connector.
You can do this by using the 7-way connector # A7WCB, 10 gauge wire (sold by the foot) # 10-2-1, and heat shrink butt connectors # DW05745-5.
You will connect the black wire to the 1 o'clock pin on the back of the connector, and the white wire will get connected to the 7 o'clock pin on the back of the connector. You will then connect the other end of the black wire to the black wire on your transfer pump, and the other end of the white wire to the white wire on your transfer pump.
I included a few videos on the products mentioned for you to take a look at.
