Surface-Mount, Bolt-On Installation is Easy
This surface-mount dome light is incredibly easy to install as an upgrade or direct replacement of your existing light. To access the bolt holes, slide the lens off the housing. Do not use any tools to remove the lens, as it will crack. Then, using hardware (not included), bolt the housing onto the ceiling, wall, or cabinet before re-installing the lens. The light has a 2-wire design that hooks up to ground (white wire) and power (black wire). Once you're finished, you can then turn the light on and off using the integrated toggle switch in the center of the light, or you can wire it to wall-mounted light switch. 2 Incandescent light bulbs are included.

Speaker 1: Today we're going to be taking a look at the command surface mount RV interior light with switch.Part # 328-001-901XPWThis command dome light is going to be a great replacement for your dome lights in your RV, camper, or enclosed trailer.It's an incandescent light, with a rocker switch for easy on and off. The white housing is going to compliment the interior of your RV and the polycarbonate lens is textured to help disburse the light.The overall dimensions are seven and 3/8 of an inch long, four and 3/4 of an inch wide, and an inch and 3/4 of an inch deep.If your camper already has incandescent lights and you're just replacing one, this is a great option. But if you're replacing multiple, or wanting an upgrade, consider the optronics LED RV interior light.Part # RVI LL33.The LED lights shine brighter and will last a long time saving you money on replacement bulbs.Now that we've gone over all the features I'll go ahead and show you how to get it installed. My light no longer works. I've checked the bulb. It's not it.
So I'll be replacing the entire light.Before we get started it's a good idea to make sure that you disconnect the power. That way we don't get shocked. Then we can remove our lens, for ours, it's just going to slide away from the switch. And then it's going to reveal our mounting hardware.We'll be saving this hardware because our new one does not come with. Then we can just pull down our wiring.
As you can see our old one has used quick splice connectors. Let's go ahead and take these off.To install our new lights we will be using wire nuts, so I need to cut these wires and strip them. Now for our new light. We'll need to connect our black wire to our power, which for us, is purple.So we'll take the two halves of the wire, and our new wire, and we'll take our wire nut, and put it in place. It's a good idea to make sure it's nice and tight.
Then we can repeat the same process with our ground, which is our white.Now I've turned my power back on, that way I can test everything before I snug everything up. I'd say it works great. Now we can tuck up our wire and finish our installation.Now let's pop our lens off. It just slides away from the switch, and then comes off. Then we can take our old hardware, and I'm going to try to line up the holes from my old light.
Make sure it's nice and even, and then we're all set.With our hardware in place, we can go ahead and put our cover back on, and we're all set.And that's going to complete our look at the command surface mount interior light with switch.Part # 328-001-901 XPW.

Product was exactly what I needed, the only issue I have was with the shipping delay, when ordering it was stated that I would receive it by 4/21 was good but the product did not arrive until 4/24.
I don't like the bulbs or the way they light, I wanted the actual bulbs that twist in ( the incandescent bulbs) the lighting is NOT the same.
