We have a really nice option for an awning that will work with your high-top Ram ProMaster 2500 van, with the best one being from Thule. What you will need are the awning, as well as the adapter you mentioned, with the correct parts being the following:

- Thule HideAway Roll Out Awning for ProMaster or Sprinter # TH620001

- Dodge ProMaster Van Adapter # TH301649

I really like this awning because of its large, 80 square feet of coverage so you have a ton of available shade on sunny days or even protection from wet weather because the fabric is waterproof. It's also easy to use and with the adapter will install directly onto the fixed mounting points on your van's roof.

There are a couple of options for detachable panels for the Thule HideAway Roll Out Awning # TH620001. What you can use are other sun blocker panels, which will serve the same purpose to keep insects out, or there is the option for a tent which attaches to the awning. So you can use either option for the awning on your High-Top ProMaster: - X-Large QuickFit Tent for Thule HideAway Awnings # TH309920 - Sun Blocker G2 Front Panel for Thule 10' HideAway Awning # TH307286 - Sun Blocker G2 Side Panel for Thule 10' HideAway Awning # TH307278
