Shank Replacement for Husky Centerline Weight Distribution to Convert to 2-1/2 inch Hitch

Updated 04/16/2025 | Published 05/12/2021

Question:

I currently have the 2inch husky centerline t/s wdh that I used on my tahoe. I recently purchased a 2018 ram 2500 that has a 2-1/2inch receiver. Is there a shank that will accept the ball peice so I dont have to purchase a whole new wdh? It needs to have quite a due to the height of the tow vehicle

You can use the Equal-i-zer Shank part # EQ90-02-4900 with your Husky Centerline system to convert it to a 2-1/2 inch hitch. All you'd need is this shank and you'd be set.

@BobB Sorry about that. Yeah some of the rise/drop figures don't always translate perfectly when using a different brand of WD head and shank because the ball heights of the systems aren't always in the same place relative to everything else. The Bulletproof hitches part # BPH75RR has a similar rise/drop but it has adjustment holes that go all the way up the vertical portion of the shank so that would make allow it to fit into that area the Equalizer shank you have wouldn't work.
