Question:
I have the E4, 10K hitch on my Silverado 1500 and looking to move this over to my Silverado 2500 HD truck. Trying to figure out if I should get the 10inch rise by 6inch or get the 4inch by 8inch rise which I have already on my 1500. I measured my hitch receivers from the ground to the top and on my 1500 its 20inch and the 2500 its 21.5. On the shank I have now the hitch is on the 4inch side mounted all the way up so Im not sure if this will be work on the 2500 using the last two holes, which would it down? Either way I want the 2.5inch shank because I dont want to use a sleeve for my existing 2inch shank. Let me know what the experts think. Also, Im pulling a GD Imagine 17MKE XLS which is not a very heavy trailer, probably around 5500 the way we have it loaded. Thanks

Thanks for all the detailed information! Given the taller height of your 2019 Chevy Silverado 2500, I recommend the 10" rise or 6" drop Equal-i-zer Weight Dist Shank item # EQ90-02-4900 you were looking at. I strongly agree with you not wanting to use a reducer. You have a lighter trailer but it is still an extra moving part plus you're going to need more of a drop then the shank that came with your system.
I have linked a dimensional diagram of this shank below so you can see exactly where the bottom of it will be compared to your receiver.
