Does the Replacement Tool with Lock Plug for Thule Hull-A-Port XT Kayak Carrier Item # 1500052963 come in a ‘key-lock’ version. The installation manual shows this item with an actual key or combination lock. How can you lock this rack on your car?

The Replacement Tool with Lock Plug for Thule Hull-A-Port XT # 1500052963 does not come with a lock core, as it is simply a replacement part for the Thule Hull-A-Port XT Kayak Carrier TH848.
What you would need to do in order to lock the Hull-A-Port XT to your vehicle is order lock cores:
- Thule One-Key System Lock Cylinders # TH450200
You will install the cylinder inside the tightening tool, in place of the lock plug, and that will allow you to lock the Hull-A-Port XT. I have added some links below to video reviews for you to check out as well if you'd like to take a look.
