Is it clockwise or counter to wind the idler arms

When winding an awning you want to wind in the direction that would allow the spring tension to want to pull the awning fabric in. So depending on how you look at the head it could be clockwise or counter-clockwise. So roll the awning like you are rolling it towards the body of the RV since the fabric comes over the top of the roller. 14 rolls is typically gives the best amount of tension.
