Question:
I have a 2018 Winnebago Aspect 27K Class C RV based on a 2017 manufactured Ford E-450 Super Duty chassis. I already have purchased from you and installed SumoSprings Maxim Helper Springs - Rear - Heavy Duty # SSR-106054-1 at the rear, and now am looking at fitting a Roadmaster Anti-Sway Bar, but am a bit confused on the difference between the #RM 1139-147 and the #1139-947 and therefore in making the correct choice. Incidentally, my assumption is “Auto Chains” refers to automatic tensioning snow chains, and that the end links on the #1139-197 assembly must be designed differently so as to preclude any interference with a snow chain installed on to an inner dual rear wheel. Admittedly I suspect I would only very seldom find myself in a position where I would have to fit snow chains. However, on the other hand, IF that happened, I would only plan on putting them on the outer rear wheel each side. That being the case, I cannot figure out why any type of different configuration of the anti-sway bar end link element would be negatively affected by the fitting an automatic snow chain on the outer dual wheel. I’m sure I must be missing something simple but fundamental here, but do not want to risk making the wrong purchasing choice and regret it in a year or two if I made the wrong one. Thanks.

By Auto-Chains, Roadmaster is referring to air-actuated tire chains that deploy from the bottom of the vehicle just inboard and in front of the rear wheels. The chain assembly consists of a central hub with multiple lengths of chain radiating out from the central hub. The chains deploy so they lay on the ground right in front of the tire, and will spin as they pass under the tire. It's pretty ingenious, actually. You can Google 'Automatic Tire Chains' and you'll see what I'm speaking of.
Auto chains are more typically found on commercial vehicles, and you'd probably know without a doubt whether your motorhome was equipped with them.
For your Class C Winnebago Aspect on a E450 chassis, you'd want to use the # RM-1139-147 Anti-Sway bar for vehicles without auto chains, as it's very unlikely you have them. I've linked to an install video that you'll find helpful.
