Question:

I installed a SES FRTT350J rear severe service kit on my 2021 Ford F350 dually. The gap between the top of the axle and the rubber bumper is now 2.5inch when unloaded. Timbren calls for an unloaded 0.5 to 1.5 inch gap. Can I use a 1 inch and a 0.5 inch spacer from Timbren on this SES kit to close the gap to 1.0 inch. I will need to get longer bolts. what size should they be? Thank you,

To get the gap close enough between the axle and the Timbren kit you installed you would want to install the spacers like you mentioned. For that we have the 1 inch spacer part # A25723-90AH00 and the 1/2 inch spacer # TA25723-90AD00. To pick out the correct bolt length you'd want to take the bolt you have now with you to a hardware store and buy one that is 1-1/2 inches longer than what you have now that is Grade 8.

If for some reason you feel the ride quality is too harsh you could remove the 1/2 inch spacer too to find the best balance between support and ride quality.
