Question:

Solera 21v battery will not charge,green light stays on all time. switch will not work in or out..

I spoke with Lippert and their tech says this sounds like the controller on your Solera Smart Arm 12V Power RV Awning - 20' Wide - Programmable - Black Fade Item # LC517517 needs a hard reset. I've attached a picture of the hard reset instructions from the manual. The Tech said to hold lock button for 15 seconds instead of just 10 seconds as stated in the manual.

If after hard resetting the controller you are still having issues you're going to want to remove the controller and check it and the wiring harness for moisture or corrosion. If you do find moisture or corrosion you'll need to replace the controller and wiring harness.
