Can a Trailer Winch be Plugged Into an AC Power Outlet at the Back of a Vehicle

Question:
I have a 2010 Toyota FJ Cruiser that has an A/C power outlet in the rear cargo area. Is there a way to be able to just plug the unit in instaed of using an inverter and hard wiring a connector to the battery?

We do have some AC powered winches but the Master Lock Electric Trailer Winch, # 2953AT, is a DC powered winch so it cannot be plugged into an AC power outlet, even on a vehicle unless you do like you said and hardwire it. Otherwise you would attach it to the vehicle battery or to an alternate car battery if it is not feasible to attach it to the car battery.
I have added a link to the AC powered winches we do carry.
