According to Curt, their # C13406 Class III hitch is a confirmed fit for all models of the 2016 Rav4, including the Hybrid model.
If you'll be towing with the hitch, you'll also need a # 118578 trailer wiring harness, a # 2753 ball mount an either a # 19260 1-7/8 inch or a # 63845 2 inch trailer ball.
