How To Store Trailer Valet RVR3 Remote-Controlled Trailer Dolly

Question:

Hello the battery be removed to store indoors for the winter or does the entire unit need to go into a climate controlled area for the winter? Will storing in a cold garage where is gets to freezing hurt the battery?

I took a look at the manual for the Trailer Valet RVR3 Remote-Controlled Trailer Dolly part # TVRVR3 and the following is what they recommend for storage.

"Put the RVR in the transport box/bag delivered from the factory. If the storage box/bag should become
damaged, discard it. Store the RVR in dry, frost-free conditions. Do not store the RVR in direct sunlight or at high temperatures. High temperatures may drain the battery quickly."
