Question:

i have a 2006 jayco class c step part # 909508000 . i just replaced the step motor form you #lc379608 and my step still will not go all the way up without help. I would like to replace the gear box but can not figure out which one it is. the gear box arm has 151342 and kwikee with a backwards 4 also 151384. can you please tell me which gear box to order

I have a solution for you, but based on the motor you purchased for your Kwikee Steps # LC379608 I was able to determine that your steps are the pre 2006 version and a replacement gear box is not made any longer.

What you will need to do is use the Motor Upgrade Kit for Kwikee Electric RV Steps # LC379145 which will replace your motor and gear box with the new design and get your steps back into perfect working order.

The # LC379608 will not work with the new gear box, but you can likely get some money back selling it to someone who's older gear box is good but are needing a new motor.
