Hey Rafael, the correct replacement motor for your Kwikee 32 Series Steps is the Lippert Components Kwikee Motor part # LC379147. What RV are these steps installed on?

This motor replacement was easy and had it done in about 15 minutes total from removing the old unit to placing the new one on. I do recommend taking a moment and lubricating that sliding mechanisms on the step itself as these tend to get stuck over time which puts more wear and tear on this motor.

Regarding install of the Kwikee Motor part # LC379147, the installation went well and was fairly easy after watching a youtube video showing someone else replacing it. I disconnected the pivot pin point of the rotating arm to the steps and installed the replacement motor easily and then noticed a minor problem that when the arm was fully extended the arm was just a little too far extended to insert the pivot control pin into the receptor hole on the steps. After a couple trial and error attempts to stop the motor at the right time to allow the pivot points to align with the steps completely extended, the best solution was to pull the power connector cord when the circular arm was about halfway extended to stop the arm from fully extending and then lifting or propping up the steps to the right height to allow the correct alignment of the arm with the pivot point on the steps. Reinsert the pin through the arm and steps and secure with the cotter pin. Then restore the power cord to the kwikee motor and allow it to complete its movement and finish pushing the steps all the way out before it stopped. This essentially reset proper operation of pulling the steps back in when I closed the door. It has worked flawlessly whenever I open or close the coach door for the past year since I replaced the motor. Only other suggestion to make is lubricate the moving pivot points of the steps periodically to make the operation smooth.

Exact replacement. Easy install. Better quality than ones off of Amazon

These steps are expensive to replace and the availability of repair parts is a big money saver. It is a bit of a challenge as you have to be mindful of the "Stops" that align the motor to the position of the steps. I've since ensured that the "Ignition On" interlock is in place so if you forget that your steps are out, turning on the ignition retracts and parks them while ignition is on. Again, as long as the ignition is on the steps remain parked regardless of the entry door's position.

These steps works exceptionally well with no problems. They were very easy to replace the originals! And less expensive too! Yes I’d buy them again if ever need too. E-trailer has been so helpful
