Question:

I have an awning that measures 153 inches. Instead of buying the 168109 model, which is 13 foot 1 inch, I would prefer to purchase the 168110 model that is a little wider to give additional coverage. My question is, are there limitations on the arms and brackets or is there some adjustments in the arms that would allow for them to easily reach the ends of the awning roller tube? Thank you.

So the issue here is exactly what you were referencing in regards to the extension arms and brackets; the wider awning you referenced is too wide for the hex extension to reach. I can tell you though, that since your flange-to-flange measurement is 153 inches, you will still have full coverage of your slide-out with the correct slide topper, and can choose from either black or white:

- Black: Solera RV Slide-Out Awning # LCV000168109

- White: Solera RV Slide-Out Awning # LCV000163300

These have fabric that measures 157 inches wide and will give full coverage of your slide. I have added links below to a video review as well as an install for you to take a look at if you'd like.
