This Solera slide topper gives your slide-out the protection it needs from leaves, twigs, and pooling water. The awning automatically extends and retracts with your slide, so you never have to think about it once it’s installed. That simple motion keeps debris from damaging seals or letting moisture inside. It’s designed for slide-outs 158"–163" wide with up to a 48" extension, giving full coverage right where it’s needed most.
The premium 13.5-oz vinyl fabric holds up through years of use and all kinds of weather. It’s cold-crack tested down to -25°F, so it won’t stiffen or split in freezing conditions. The seams are heat-welded instead of stitched, keeping rain from leaking through and preventing mildew or rot. This is the same tough construction used across the Solera line, made to take on strong sun or cold winter storage without wearing out fast.
Installing the topper is straightforward for most do-it-yourselfers. The kit includes the awning rail, brackets, and hardware you’ll need to get it mounted. The roller tube comes pre-assembled with the fabric, so you just secure the access plate, slide on the brackets, and anchor the rail up to 5" above the trim. Only 7" of clearance is needed on each side for a proper fit—if space is tight, go one size down and you’ll still get solid coverage.
The white awning fabric pairs with matching white hardware for a clean, finished look. When extended, it also gives your slide-out some extra shade, helping to keep the inside cooler on hot days. It’s a simple, durable way to add function and protection without adding electrical wiring or complicated parts.
For the best fit, measure outer edge to outer edge of your slide-out trim. This 163" model works perfectly for slides within the 158"–163" range and gives full 48" projection coverage. If you’re short on clearance or have multiple slides close together, the next size down will still do the job while keeping space between awnings.

I have been using my slide awnings for a year now without any issues. I dont have to worry about sticks and pine cones getting on top of my slide outs. It keeps me from having to climb on top of the RV. I highly recommend these to everyone I see.

After a year of use, the slide topper awning still looks and works great. Youd never know it wasnt a factory install. So far, no signs the Arizona sun is deteriorating the fabric, although I try to treat it with 303 Protectant, and keep the trailer covered when not in use. Still very happy with my purchase.

Couldnt be happier with slide out topper. Keeping waterdebri off slide out, protecting seal which was the goal. Not one issue with item, working great after 1 yr n probably for years to come.
