Is This Tray Designed To Slide Out To Run The Generator Outside of the Compartment?

Question:
It says it makes it easy to access the generator, but I want to slide my generator out for running it. does it latch in the openinch position?

For the MORryde # MR79RR slide out generator tray, there is not a lock or latch for the full out position. If it were me, I would look for a place to place a wedge to keep it out as necessary. I can't see any reason that you cannot run a generator in the in position or the out position, assuming that you have proper ventilation to keep carbon monoxide out of your coach or trailer. Be aware that the the tray does not pull the full length of the drawer out.
