For your 2019 Toyota RAV4 I recommend looking into the Yakima FullBack trunk bike rack. For a 2-bike carrier go with # Y02634 and for a 3-bike carrier go with # Y02633. This bike rack offers the most bang for your buck. It has integrated locks to secure the bikes to the carrier and also secure the bike rack to the trunk of your RAV4. There is also a handy bottle opener built into the left arm which is a cool feature.

Both carriers are very lightweight at only 21lbs each. The carrier uses high quality anti-sway cradles to absorb shock and make sure you bikes are nice and tight even on those bumpy roads. My favorite part about this bike rack is that it spaces the bikes out 12" apart to reduce the risk of the bikes touching each other. Another nice feature is the folding mechanism which allows you to save space at the back of your vehicle when bikes are not loaded onto it.

Keep in mind that if you are hauling any oddly-shaped bikes such as a step-thru, children's, or women's bike, then you will want to grab an adapter bar such as # HRBA-PRO.
