Replacement Lock For Extang Encore Hard Tonneau Cover

Question:
I have a 2018 f350, this is the replacement part I need for the OneKey system. I am not opposed to having a separate key and would actually rather have a separate key. My question is can I replace the lock with Item # EX28620094-28 that includes its own keys? So basically are the dimensions the same so that I can use it?

The correct replacement lock for your Extang EnCore Hard Tonneau Cover (EX62488) is Replacement OEM BOLT Lock # EX28620192-28 and I recommend going with this. I did talk to Extang about using Replacement Lock EX28620094-28 and their engineer said that it should work but no guarantee since it is technically not the correct replacement lock. You could go that route but I would stick with the recommended replacement to ensure fitment.
