Parts Needed to Add Window to 1-3/8 Inch Thick Trailer Door

Question:

I would like to install a window in my cargo trailer door. there is not one there now. the door looks to be 1 3/8 inches thick. what is your suggestion for a complete window including all inside and outside parts. a screen would be nice to have if available.

I have a solution for you, but there is not a window kit that allows for a screened window to be added to your entry door. However, you can use the Valterra Entry Door Window Frame Assembly - Exterior - Black # A77051 which is designed for doors at least 1-3/8" thick, so it's the perfect solution for a 1-3/8" thick door. This unit includes the glass and mounting hardware, but you also may need some Alpha Systems Q130 Butyl Tape for RVs - 20' x 1" x 3/16" - Black - Qty 1 # AL88FJ to help seal up the window frame and reduce the chances of moisture and wind getting through.
