Question:

I need to replace a Dometic Penguin II 13,500 BTU Low Profile Rooftop Air Conditioner, Ducted and Non-Ducted AC unit. With a Furrion Chill Replacement RV Air Conditioner 14500/15000 btu. It’s in a 42’ 5Th wheel. It will be replacing the AC in Front. The other ac/ heat pump is in the rear. A Dometic 15000 btu. Unit. Please include all parts needed for install. I do like the light feature on the Furrion as well. I’m aware of the height difference between the two units of about 2.5 inches which I can’t see being a Huge deal. Please advise

I have contacted the manufacturer to verify replacement of your Dometic Penguin II with that of the Furrion Chill Replacement RV Air Conditioner for Dometic Brisk Setup - 14,500 Btu - White, # FR29SR. Yes this product will replace your current but you will need a conversion kit as well for the mounting hardware. The Coleman Adapter Wiring Kit for Furrion Chill RV Air Conditioners, # C-FACR15SA-A01. You will not have need of the wiring portion but will need the hardware for proper placement.
