HELLO, WE OWN A 2018 KEYSTONE COUGAR 5TH WHEEL. THE DOMETIC AIR CONDITIONER DOES NOT DO THE JOB WHEN IT GETS HOT, AND IT IS SO LOUD YOU CANT THINK! I WOULD LIKE YOUR RECOMEDATION ON WHICH FURRION AC WOULD SOLVE MY PROBLEMS ? THE DOMETIC IS CONNECTED TO DUCTING THAT SUPPLIES COOL AIR FROM THE LIVING ROOM TO THE BED ROOM AND BATH. To replace the Dometic air conditioner in your 2018 Keystone Cougar 5th Wheel I recommend the Furrion Chill Replacement RV Air Conditioner for Furrion Setup - 15,000 Btu - White # FR58PR or Black # FR86PR.

We have found the Furrion Chill to be one of the quietest AC options due to the rubber dampers, and its 15000 BTU rating and dual fans with dual motors will do a great job at keeping your RV cool.

These units are compatible with air duct your Dometic unit uses.

Will this ac just drop in were my dometic was and bolt up the same and will this ac run off my thermostat and my module that also runs my furnace

@JohnJ The above furrion units will be a direct bolt on replacement for a dometic unit, but I'll need to know the exact model to know if it will plug right in and run off your thermostat/Air distribution box. The above units work with the 6-pin connector, but since you mentioned your unit controls a furnace you may have the 9-pin connector, in which case you'd need the adapter # C-FACR15SA-A01. You can also remove your air distribution box from your ceiling, and find the plug connecting the roof top unit to the box, and see if it has 9 pins or 6 pins.

@Brandon I would need to know what brand and model AC you currently have. Will it physically fit? Yes. Will this unit work with your current air distribution box? I need the brand and model of your current ac to confirm.
