What is the Weight Capacity of a Roof Rack with a Roof Top Tent

Hello, Im interested in the Thule SquareBar Evo for a 2010 BMW X5 with raised rails, and Im curious to know the load rating for this system. Im seeing the specs show a 220 lbs. Im assuming this is a dynamic weight capacity? If so, what is the static weight limit? Im hoping to install a rooftop tent that sleeps 2-3 people so its crucial I know the static weight limit. The weight capacity of the roof rack needs to be at least 165 lbs for Yakima's Roof Top Tents # Y07437 and then the tent has a capacity of 600 lbs. When the vehicle is standing still the weight capacity is what the tents capacity is. This measurement will depend on what tent you decide to go with and what its regulations and capacities are.

After you figure the weight of the contents in the tent you will still need to check with the owners manual of your 2010 BMW X5 to see what the roof is rated to hold.
