Question:
Hi, I have a dual set of Dexter Axels on a 1966 Airstream, the label says they are #10, the hubs are a six lug with the numbers 8-250 on them. I want to go to self adjusting brakes and replace the bearings and seals, do you happen to know what P/Ns I need?

From past experiences we have found that the Dexter 8-250 hubs are for a 3500lb axle, use inner bearing # L68149 and outer bearing # L44649, and use 10" x 2-1/4" braking assemblies.
For bearings I recommend the Bearing Kit # BK2-100 which will include the bearings and races you need. You will need one of the # BK2-100 for each hub.
For braking assemblies I recommend the Electric Trailer Brake Kit - Self-Adjusting - 10" # AKEBRK-35-SA which have the self-adjusting feature you mentioned. I also recommend using heat shrink butt connectors # DW05745-5 for a weather tight connection.
Lastly if your mounting hardware is also in need of replacing you will need the # BRKH10B.
I included videos for the products mentioned for you to take a look at.
