Question:
Im trying to find the right axle to replace the one on my horse trailer, as the wheel bearings broke and dug chunks into the axle spindle. However, as the trailer is 20 years old, the label on the axle that tells me what it is has long disappeared. The best info I have is AL KO brand axle. Ive been searching the site for one that is similar, but hit a snag. For example, how do I measure the , as dexter has both a 4 and 6 . The axles I have measures 89 with 74 on spring center with double eye spring suspension under the axle. The drum size is 10 and has a 6 bolt setup for the wheels. I cant find something on your site that is similar with the ped axle. Im guessing these a 6,000lb axles, as the title shows 12K for its weight. Thoughts?

The Dexter Axle part # T3584F-EZ-8974 would match what you are looking for the best. This is the correct dimensions and based on your hub/drum size and mounting flange matches the correct capacity of 3,500 lbs as well.
For brake assemblies you'd want the left and right set part # AKEBRK-35 and then for hub/drums you'd want the part # AKHD-655-35-EZ-K and you'd be set.
