How To Install Redarc Tow-Pro Elite In 2019 Ford Range Without Factory 7-way Connector

I just installed Curt T connector 7 way wiring harness #56431. Now I need to install a trailer brake. Will RedArc #RED44FR work with this harness and my 2019 Ford Ranger.

Thank you for purchasing the Curt T-Connector Vehicle Wiring Harness with 7-Way Trailer Connector # C56431 through us!

You can absolutely install the Redarc Tow-Pro Elite # RED44FR on your 2019 Ford Ranger. While there is not a factory trailer brake controller port, Ford did run the wires needed under the dash. You should find a bundle of 4 wires with blue tape near the driver side wheel well underneath the dash. The 4 wires should be blue, yellow/red, white/purple and white.

You will need to use the pig tail harness included with the # RED44FR to make the following connections

Blue wire from vehicle to blue wire on pig tail harness. This is the brake output wire
Yellow/Red wire from vehicle to black wire on pig tail harness. This is the 12v Power Wire
White/purple wire from vehicle to red wire on pig tail harness. This is the cold side of the stop light switch wire.
White wire from vehicle to white wire on pig tail harness. This is the ground wire

I recommend using a circuit tester like # PTW2993 to double check these functions.
