Furrion Tankless Water Heater Installation & Warranty

Question:

Hello: If I purchase the Furrion FWH09A tankless water heater and do a self install how will the warranty be honored and supported. I am a retired HVAC mechanic so install should not be an issue. I have all the necessary tools and manometer to certify proper propane WC measurements.

You will have the benefit of the warranty regardless of the qualifications of the installer. However, no manufacturer offers warranty for improper installation or use of a product, even if a professional completes the installation.

I downloaded the User Manual for the Furrion # FR93FR water heater and it recommended, " Installation and service must be performed by a qualified installer, service agency or the gas supplier." This is to ensure your safety. Working with gas and electric is no place for guess work.
