We have everything you need in order to tow a gooseneck trailer with your 2019 Ram 2500, and you can do so with the RamBox system in your truck bed. The biggest issue with the RamBox is turning clearance with 5th wheel hitches and trailers so you can tow a gooseneck trailer. First, you'll need a hitch, and the correct fit for the B&W gooseneck for your 2019 Ram 2500 is the following:
- B&W Turnoverball Underbed Gooseneck Trailer Hitch with Custom Installation Kit # BWGNRK1320
This is a fantastic choice for a gooseneck hitch as it is the best hitch you can get due to the square base it uses for its hitch ball, which means unlike a hitch that uses a round base, the ball isn't going to turn when you are driving, keeping the connection to your gooseneck coupler totally secure and stable. Then for 7,500 lb air bags, you will need an option from Air Lift:
- Air Lift LoadLifter 7500 XL Air Helper Springs # AL57589
This is the only option that will work with an in-bed hitch, but just keep in mind that it will not fit your truck if your Ram has the factory air suspension. Otherwise, this is going to offer you outstanding support as you are towing, and help keep your Ram level. To make the cleanest cuts during the install, I do highly recommend using the Air Hose Cutter # AL10530.
