Comparing Curt Echo And Redarc Tow Pro Elite Trailer Brake Controllers For 2019 Nissan Titan

Question:

I’m looking to add a brake controller to my 2019 Nissan Titan. I’ve narrowed it down to either REDARC Tow Pro Elite or CURT 51180 Echo. What’s the better option of the two? Also, what part number would I need if I went with REDARC? Please include any other items I’d need if I went with REDARC also. Thanks!

Between the Curt Echo # C51180 and Redarc Tow Pro Elite # RED44FR for your 2019 Nissan Titan I recommend the Redarc as it is a one time install, and very out of the way unlike traditional trailer brake controllers.

To install the # RED44FR in your Titan you will just need the Plug-and-Play Wiring Harness # RED39FR which will plug into the factory trailer brake controller port located above the emergency brake pedal.

With that said, if you are planning on using multiple different tow vehicles I would recommend the # C51180 instead as it can be used with any vehicle that has a functioning 7-way connector.
