Gooseneck Hitch Recommendation for 2021 Ram 2500 Without OEM Tow Prep Package

Question:

Looking for a RAM 2500 underbed round gooseneck hitch I found the draw tite 9485 on their website. I dont see it on yours. Do you have this product available to you?

We offer the Reese 9485 as our own unique part number, # DT89MR, as well as the Curt # C60633 or the B&W # BWGNRK1320 which will all fit.

If I personally had to choose between the two, I'd go with the B&W because I prefer the side-latch system that's accessed in the wheel well versus the Curt and Reese system which features a latch on top of the ball which releases it from the hitch. Curt and Reese both make a fine product, but if you're not careful dropping the gooseneck coupler, the coupler could potentially damage the latching mechanism on the ball.

If you'd like a 7-way trailer connector/harness installed in the truck bed so you don't need to run the trailer connector up over the tailgate to attach to the 7-way on the bumper, you can install one using part # 50-97-410.
