Question:
I have a bike rack that can hold 2 ebikes that weigh 60 pounds each. The rack weigh 45 pounds and fit on a 1-1/4 inch class1 hitch. The weight of my setup is 165 pounds. My car is a Toyota Corolla sedan 2020. Draw Tite class1 hitch for the my Corolla is the 24983. Do you Think this hitch will be able to carry my 2 e-bikes without problem ?

Helpful Expert Reply:
The Class I Draw-Tite Sportframe Trailer Hitch Receiver # 24983 which fits your 2020 Toyota Corolla Sedan will absolutely be able to handle your bike racks and electric bikes that have a total weight of 165 lbs, as will the other Class I hitch that fits your car, the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver # C34UR.
The reason is, both hitches have a 200 lb tongue weight capacity, and that is the maximum amount of weight that accessories like bike racks can weigh. So because your bike rack and e-bikes have a combined weight of 165 lbs, you are still well under the 200 lb capacity of both the Curt Trailer Hitch # C34UR and the Draw-Tite Trailer Hitch # 24983.
I have added links below to installation instructions of both hitches for you to take a look at as well if you'd like.
