Hooking up trailer wiring doesn’t have to mean cutting into factory wires. The Curt T-Connector Vehicle Wiring Harness with 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector plugs right into your vehicle’s existing wiring. It’s a true plug-and-play setup made for DIY installs, so you can get reliable trailer lighting without any guesswork or splicing.
This harness uses a powered converter that draws power directly from the vehicle battery, preventing overload on the tail light circuits. You just run a single power wire to the battery, and the converter takes care of the rest. That setup gives you clean, consistent power for trailer running lights, turn signals, and brake lights—especially helpful when towing trailers with extra lighting or LED setups.
The 4-pole flat connector provides the standard lighting functions—running lights, turn signals, and brake lights—so your trailer stays visible and legal on the road. The durable molded plug holds up well to repeated use and connects easily to most small and midsize trailers.
The harness tucks neatly behind panels using existing trim routes for a secure, hidden fit. Once installed, only the 4-flat connector is visible at the hitch area, giving you a clean look that’s ready whenever you need to tow.

Awesome
Worked very well.
Very good
Arrived as stated. Just waiting to get some free to have it installed.
Very easy to install and works great!
4.5 stars. Makes install clean and simple. Running power will be the hardest part by far. Works as intended just hope it lasts for the price.
Complete plug and play. Good quality at a fair price!
The harness and parts fit perfectly. Works like a charm.
They promised a certain shipment date but failed to deliver the package to UPS before the holiday weekend. I caught this and requested they change the address because I would no longer be at that address pass the original anticipated shipment date and they told me there was nothing they could do. So I wasted 67 dollars.
It fits pretty good. but there is hardly any space for the heat shield.
Etrailer is the best place to buy your trailer parts. alway's got the products
Ok, the items I ordered were installed and are working flawlessly. The instructions were easy to follow, of course some skill is involved that a basic handyman would possess. I have been using them for a year now.
Great trailer hitch, very strong and able to exceed my expectations
When I buy a vehical, I put on a hitch and wiring harness. I dont bother shopping around but by from etrailer right off. Good products, good price, good instructions...why shop anywhere else
Product does what it should. I bought it to cannibalize it to use the connectors with splices to support 4 and 7 way connections to allow for dedicated trailer turn signals on my personal trailer, along with standard 4 pin on trailers with industry normal wiring. Worked great for my use. Exactly what I needed.
Oh, it works as intended as well with no modifications. Super easy plug and play with minimal extra work needed for supplying 12v+ and ground.
Just as advertised
Works great now that I finally figured out how to get the power wire hooked up to it. Claims "Easy" install. True, custom connectors made signal wires quick to install, reality set in when I had to get 12 volt power to the back end from the battery in the front. It wasn't pretty but it's done. Unavoidable problem because of Hybrid design, no 12 volt wires in the rear, only computer controlled activation wires. But please, don't claim it's "Easy".
My only critique has nothing to do with e-trailer or the Curt product line. Rather my opinion has to do with the Toyota Company. I wish the Corolla had been easier to install the hitch and wiring on. I didn't like having to drill holes in the cars frame and having to cut the splash pan and heat shield. As for the wiring of the lights the plug in system is excellent. My only complaint, and again this is directed at Toyota, is the need to run a hot wire directly from the battery all the way under the car and up through the trunk to supply power to the electronic converter. Again e-trailer and the Curt product line were great products and the instructions spot on. Toyota should do a better job anticipating the needs of their customers.
