Replacement for Hub with LM48548 Outer and L12649 Outer Bearings

Question:

Im trying to find replacement idler ez-lube hubs for a camping trailer 15 wheels. The current hubs have an inner bearing timken LM48548, outer timken M12649. I guess about 7/8 outer and 1 3/8 inner tapered spindles. Thanks for the recomdations.

Unfortunately, we don't carry any replacement hubs that are compatible with the bearing set you specified. I'm guessing your camper is pretty old, as I wasn't able to find any information on those hubs.

Your best bet at this point would be to replace the axle with one that uses modern spindles. We do offer some off-the-shelf axles in the more popular sizes. To choose the correct replacement, I'll need to know the axle capacity or the GVWR of the camper, the hub face to hub face dimension and the center to center distance between the spring seats.

If you can provide that information, I'd be happy to look through our axle selection to see if anything we offer would fit your needs.
