Recommended RV Backup Camera For Airstream Basecamp X

Question:
Question on Back-up Cameras- I have a basecamp x airstream and want a wireless back-up camera. I believe there are ones that go where the back-up lights are that are incorporated as a light and camera? Is this so- are they easy to install and which ones do you recommend?

There are RV backup cameras that replace a 3rd brake light, but based on the pictures I was able to find of your Airstream Basecamp X it appears you do not have a 3rd brake light that matches this type of setup.
Instead, I recommend the Furrion Vision S Wireless RV Backup Camera System w/ Night Vision # FOS05TASF that includes a camera that can be mounted pretty much anywhere giving you endless options, and will only require you to connect the camera to a 12v power source and a ground.
Since there is not much room above the rear door on your Basecamp I recommend mounting it to the roof right above the door, and connecting the camera to your running light circuit which will allow you to use the camera for backing up, but also for when you are on the highway and want to see behind you. If you would prefer you could wire it to your reverse lights which will only turn on the camera when you are in reverse.
